Boomsday 2014 free, open to the public

Updated: 12:34 PM - Boomsday fireworks viewing will remain open to the public this year. Visit Knoxville originally planned to make the Neyland Drive viewing area a ticketed zone, but state laws regarding access prohibited the change.

Community members react after Newport public officials arrested

Updated: 07/24/2014 - Two Newport Police captains, and alderwoman and her son were arrested for their involvement in selling stolen goods and prescription pills. They're all behind bars, charged with money laundering - and Captain James Holt is facing federal charges. His bond was denied Thursday morning. Many in Newport are shocked and upset by the arrests.
