MY SUNSHINE - The first peak at baby

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine... I think I've made it clear while doing the weather, that a sunny day makes me so happy, so I think it's appropriate that our first child is MY SUNSHINE. :)

In December, we had our first doctor's visit and we were so nervous. We really didn't know what to expect, and I think we needed to see the baby, because the little pregnancy symptoms weren't enough. I wanted to see for myself, since there is no bump yet! :)

We were at doctor's office early Wednesday, the 7th. Steven seemed uncomfortable in an OBGYN office, but I loved that he could be there. They took us straight back for the ultrasound. A few seconds later there was our little jelly bean.  We got to hear the heartbeat, which I think made both of our hearts skip a beat. It was amazing!

As far as those pregnancy symptoms went, I didn't have it that bad. I got queasy/nauseous randomly, but wasn't usually overwhelmed by it.  I was tired all the time!  I could seriously sleep 10 hours a night and take a few naps a day.

The estimated due date is July 20th.   :)
