I went to my parent's house in north Georgia to celebrate Independence Day with my parents, my new husband, and my sisters. We swam so much our eyes were stinging and everything we looked at had that haze around it. But the best part is we were able to spend it together. Then on the way back to Knoxville, Judson and I were hitting Tennessee right about dark so there were about a dozen fireworks shows we got to witness on our way back home. We even pulled over on the side of the road, like others did, and watched the show in Athens, TN. For that moment, it makes you realize how wonderful it is to live in the great ole U S of A! I think lots of others think the same as I was checking facebook statuses throughout the day seeing what others were doing on the 4th! What wonderful festivities did you and your family partake in this 4th?
