KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Submitted) -- April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The 2014 National Sexual Assault Awareness Month campaign slogan is “It’s Time… To Talk About It.”
HopeLine by Verizon Wireless recycles no longer used cell phones, batteries and chargers and turns the proceeds into support for organizations that increase awareness of domestic and sexual violence and further prevention efforts.
Verizon is asking the East Tennessee community to partner with us during Sexual Assault Awareness Month 2014 to talk about this issue and take action.
Please consider donating your old devices to HopeLine; donations in East Tennessee directly fund prevention efforts and survivor care right here.
You can donate phones at area Verizon stores or find out more by clicking the link to the right.
