Inaugural Penguin Plunge

East Tennessean’s participate in the Penguin Plunge to benefit
Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee
WHAT: First Annual Penguin Plunge is benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee. East Tennesseans are planning to take the plunge into the icy, crystal blue water of the Tennessee River.

WHEN: Saturday, January 4, 2014, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Opening ceremonies begin at 11:00 a.m. with plunging immediately following.

WHERE: Calhoun’s on the River, Knoxville, Tennessee

WHO: Kirk Finnerty, Chair of the Penguin Plunge and Big Brother along with other East Tennesseans are “Freezin’ for a Reason” to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters. Approximately 70 plungers have registered to take the plunge.
