KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Submitted) -- If you're looking for a furry good luck charm and forever friend, Young-Williams Animal Center invites potential pet owners to adopt at a reduced rate during the Luck O’ the Animals special.
“With warm weather just around the corner, now is a great time to add a pet to your family,” Jeff Ashin, Young-Williams Animal Center CEO, said. “Saint Patrick’s Day is on Monday, and there is no luckier outcome for our animals than to go home with happy families.”
From Friday, March 14, to Monday, March 17, Young-Williams will offer special pricing of $50 for kittens and puppies, $25 for adult cats and dogs and $10 for senior pets.
Every adopted animal will receive the services covered by the normal adoption fees, which include a veterinary physical exam, spay/neuter surgery, some standard vaccinations, a microchip with registration and more. The adoption prices will be available at Young-Williams Animal Center at 3201 Division St., off Sutherland Drive, and the Young-Williams Animal Village at 6400 Kingston Pike on Bearden Hill.
“As an open intake shelter, we take in more than 14,000 animals every year,” Ashin said. “We have a variety of dogs and cats of various sizes, ages, breeds and temperaments to fit the lifestyle of any individual or family. By visiting the shelter, you’ll know you’re just as lucky to have your new pet in your life as they are to have you in theirs.”
