Moonshine maker goes Orange for UT spirit

Old Smoky Moonshine is selling limited edition Tennessee Vols colored orange jars.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine is going Tennessee Orange to show their support for the hometown Vols.

The moonshine company is offering limited edition Tennessee orange labels on select flavors of their moonshine. They are available only at the Holler.

You can find the special label on Blackberry, White Lightning, Cherry, Sweet Tea and Hunch Punch Lightning through the 2014 football season.

"We're from Tennessee, we're the volunteer state, we love our orange," said Justin King, Master Distiller. "We've come up with this orange flavor and It'll be good to take to the tailgate and the UT game," he said.

"It's more about tradition more than anything," he said.

The new orange flavor will be available in the coming months.

And don't miss your opportunity to meet former football player Jamal Lewis this Saturday at the Holler where the labels will be revealed.

Lewis will be there on Saturday, August 30th, from 1 to 3 p.m.
