Asbury Place Maryville hosts Knoxville Symphony Orchestra guest pianist

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An internationally recognized pianist who has played all over the world is coming to Maryville.

On Wednesday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m., pianist Alon Goldstein will visit Asbury Place retirement community in Maryville to perform for residents and staff. The concert will be held at the chapel in the assisted living building.

Goldstein is an internationally known pianist who has played with the Israel, London, Radio France and Los Angeles Philharmonic orchestras. He is in East Tennessee visiting the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra for its Moxley Carmichael Masterworks Series concerts on Feb. 18-19. He will join the KSO for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20.
