KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Chris Blue, winner of season 12 of "The Voice," recently tied the knot.
Blue won season 12 of "The Voice" in May and took home the $100,000 prize as well as a chance to sign a record deal with Universal Music Group.
Before auditioning for "The Voice," his fiancée had bone marrow cancer.
Blue said, "She had bone marrow cancer, so she would have operations."
He added," "Before she flat-lined, she called me and said, 'Chris I'm going to die.' I said 'what?' She said, 'I'm going to die. I'm just calling to let you know I'm about to die. I can feel death in this room."
Blue told Local 8 News, ""I said, 'Lord, if you bring her back, I'll quit stalling, I'll propose to this woman, and I'll go try out for "The Voice,"' said Blue."
