East Tennessee lady paints the town

Knoxville, Tennessee Every year around this time, Bobbye Edwards meticulously hand paints Christmas ornaments stroke by stroke.

Each ornament is an iconic scene of downtown Knoxville, and each one taking about six hours to complete.

Images like the old JFG sign, James White's Fort, Park City Junior High to what was then called the Whittle Building.

"The worst thing I've ever had to do is I had a lady from Jefferson City who used to work for Whittle and do you know what the Whittle building looks like? It must have 400 windows in that thing!" said Edwards.

Bobby signs and numbers each one. She claims she's never run into an ornament too difficult to complete.

You can find her at Tea and Treasures on Martin Mill Pike in South Knoxville.
