KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Horse Haven of Tennessee brought mascot 'Twinkie' the miniature horse to the Local 8 News studio on Tuesday for a demonstration in perfecting a pet's Halloween costume.

Twinkie was dressed as a devil and his handler donned an angel costume.

Horse Haven of Tennessee announced the return of 'Boo at the Barn,' a Halloween celebration at the West Knoxville facility.

The equine rescue invited families to the 'Nicker Treat' celebration as a way to thank the community for its support throughout the year.

Visitors can expect goodie bags for the kids and, for the brave of heart, Ms. Kenna will tell ghost stories in a special scary barn. There will also be a stall decorating contest by the volunteers, smores, a Lollipop Trot, and more.
