(CBS46) -- Kroger and ALDI recalled five varieties of apples due to a possible listeria contamination.
The products were sold in ALDI locations in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, South Carolina and North Carolina. They were also sold to the company's partnership with Instacart.

Kroger sold affected apples in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Ohio, Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee and West Virginia.
