KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Dreams came true for a little girl who stood out in the cold rain for two days waiting to meet Dolly Parton.
Raimy Wynette is a 9-year-old girl who moved to East Tennessee from Tulsa, Oklahoma, in hopes of meeting her idol, Dolly Parton.
After tons of people telling Raimy that this dream would never come true, she proved everyone wrong on Saturday night at Dollywood.
When people told her that she would never meet Dolly, she replied back to them, "Dolly says to keep dreaming."
The little girl never gave up hope while standing outside of Dolly Parton's bus at DreamMore Resort in the cold rain holding a sign that read "I DREAMMORE OF MEETING DOLLY PARTON. PLEASE HELP MY DREAM COME TRUE!"
It looks like her ambition and sign worked because Dolly spotted her in the crowd right outside of her bus before revealing the Don Warden star.
Raimy got both a hug and picture taken with Dolly and wants people to know that they should never give up on their dreams.
The little girl's mom, Christy Thulin, said her daughter has plans on becoming a star herself someday.
