KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Theresa Caputo of TLC’s hit show, “Long Island Medium,” announced plans to visit Knoxville next spring.
Caputo promised to share personal stories about her life in Hicksville, New York, deliver messages to audience members and comfort those grieving loved ones by explaining how she believes that they are still with them, just in a different way.
Caputo has been a practicing medium for over 15 years. She says this isn't just her job...it is her life. In addition to her television show, Long Island Medium, Caputo has released two books, "Good Grief: Heal Your Soul, Honor Your Loved Ones, and Learn to Live Again," and "You Can't Make This Stuff Up."
The highly rated show, Long Island Medium, follows Theresa’s life as a typical Long Island wife and mom with one very big difference … she says she can communicate with the dead. Since she cannot “turn off” this gift, messages from departed loved ones come through to her at any time, which lead to spontaneous readings with those she encounters. A new season of “Long Island Medium” premiered Nov. 6, 2017 on TLC.
“The Experience” brings Caputo face-to-face with her fans, as she lets a force she calls “Spirit” guide her through the audience. A video display ensures that all attendees have an up-close and hands-on experience regardless of seat location.
“The experience isn’t about believing in mediums,” Caputo said. “It’s about witnessing something life-changing. It’s like ‘Long Island Medium’ live, witnessing firsthand Spirit communication.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum Box Office or online.
