MAYNARDVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A jury found Kevin Waggoner guilty of second degree murder in the death of his neighbor, Michael Woodby.

The Waggoner and Woodby families fought for years leading up to the murder in September 2013.

At the time of the death, Waggoner told officers that Woodby hit his son with a piece of fence and that's why he fired. Waggoner said it was self-defense.
