Suspect involved in fatal Trigg Ave. shooting turns himself in

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The man involved in a deadly shooting, who police asked the public to help find, turned himself in to the Knox County Sheriff's Office Friday.

Investigators said Christopher Leon Clark is being held in the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.

Clark is a suspect in a deadly shooting that happened on Trigg Avenue Thursday morning, according to police.

Officers responded to the shooting call at 1211 Trigg Avenue on April 20 at 1:55 a.m. Officials found shooting victim 34-year-old Walter Neal wounded inside the home.

Medical first responders determined that Neal was deceased at the scene.

Clark is considered armed and dangerous.
