KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)- It's National Coffee Month (as if we needed an excuse to drink more coffee.)
But we decided to use it as an opportunity to show you how to make your own coffee creamer. Many times creamer can be loaded with fat and calories. This is a way to avoid some of that.
What you need:
1.5 cups of almond milk (or coconut) milk
3 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbs honey or maple syrup
Mix all together in a blender and store in an airtight container. It should last you a week or two.
Swap out the vanilla for different flavors. Add some cinnamon to it if you like that. Have fun with it!
