KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) You can put the recipe together, throw it in the freezer, then when you're ready to eat bake it in the oven.
6 cups uncooked wagon wheel pasta
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup Italian-seasoned bread crumbs
4 cups marinara sauce
2 cups mozzarella, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a bowl beat eggs, salt, bread crumbs, and garlic. Add beef and Parmesan cheese.
Cook Pasta for 1-2 minutes, but not fully. It will finish cooking in the oven.
In a skillet cook the meat mixture until ground beef is no longer pink. Drain and add marinara sauce and half mozzarella.
In a casserole dish combine skillet mixture with wagon wheel pasta. Top with mozzarella.
