KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- From Footloose to Michael Jackson, Ghostbusters to Diehard and the VHS machine, the 1980s was a cool decade.
Even cooler - it was the era of video arcades.
"People's eyes light up at times when they come in. They haven't seen some of these games for 20 some odd years," said Matt Pacetti, one of the owners of Suttree's High Gravity Tavern.
Games like Pac-Man, Galaga, and numerous pinball machines line the walls. His most popular game is Skeeball.
"It's for downtown folks who are looking for something to do in the evenings besides the movies or dinner," said Brett Honeycutt, the architect.
Many parents bring in their kids to Suttree's to show them how much fun it was when they were growing up. Suttree's says it's ok to bring the kids until 9 p.m.
