The Tennessean Knoxville hotel featured in Forbes list of hot hotels

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Forbes' list of 17 Hot Hotel Openings This Summer.

The list, which features picturesque destinations in Cuba, Beverly Hills, Paris, the Caribbean and even Canada, says the luxury hotel "continues to make a splash in Knoxville."

The description goes on to say the hotel is a "must stop for anyone wanting to tipple some of the state's best spirits," in reference to the hotel's Drawing Room, which carries the city's largest selection of the state's small-batch whiskey.

The hotel advertises itself as a boutique, personal luxury hotel, with only 82 guest rooms, 12 "upper bracket" residential units, guest work stations, turndown service, and decor created by Tennessee craftsmen from Hackney Furniture in Sneedville.

The Tennessean's website slates a two bedroom and two and a half bathroom unit at $1.2 million.
