KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Two new businesses plan to open this fall on the South Knoxville waterfront. They're renovating spaces at 1020 Sevier Avenue. Both are focused on healthy living.

South Landing CrossFit plans to open a new CrossFit gym on the site. Local owners are Crissy and Shane Glarrow. They plan on offering group classes as well as personal training.

Uncle Lem's Outfitters plans on opening its second Knoxville store at this waterfront location. The store caters to people who want a healthy, outdoor, natural lifestyle. Local residents Kevin Hill and Kendrick Smith are investing in the new retail location.

First Commercial Real Estate announced that the two businesses will be sharing a 6,000 square-foot building owned by 1020 Properties, LLC.

This location is near sites for boating, biking and hiking through Knoxville's urban wilderness.
