GREENBACK, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Blount County dispatch told Local 8 News first responders were at the scene of a wreck on Marble Hill in Blount County Wednesday night.
The wreck happened at 538 Marble Hill Road. It was called in at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday.
According to the incident report obtained by Local 8 News, a 2003
Mazda MPV was going straight forward when it swerved and left the roadway to avoid an oncoming vehicle. The driver overcorrected to the left. The vehicle left the roadway, rolling over twice and striking a standing tree on the middle of the roof before coming to a stop.
The driver and two passengers were trapped and extricated, one passenger sustaining suspected minor injuries. A ground EMS vehicle drover one passenger to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. The driver and another passenger were transported to UT Medical Center by LifeStar with suspected serious injuries.
No updates on the driver or passengers' conditions was immediately available Thursday.
