Warrant issued for man linked to West Knoxville murder

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A first degree murder warrant was issued for the arrest of Jaleen Genard Allen in connection to the murder of Michael Johnson on August 29.

Johnson, 29, was found dead from at least one gunshot wound in a wooded area near 418 Agnes Rd.

Allen is from Detroit, Mich. and travels between Detroit and Knoxville often. Investigators told Local 8 News Allen is known to carry more than one gun with one gun normally hanging from a chain around his neck.

The Knoxville Police Department said he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
