Knoxville, Tennessee From its roots in the 1890's to present day, Westwood Mansion continues to be a showplace. Local 8 News Anchor Alan Williams gives us a tour on his Tennessee Traveler.
Historic Westwood was built in 1890 as a wedding gift from John Lutz to his soon to be bride Adelia Armstrong.
At the time, the house was all the rage known for its elegance and refinement.
To this day, most if not all of the house is still the same from its stained glass windows, piano and many momentos.
Westwood was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984 and nowadays offers free tours as well as acts as a venue for events and weddings.
