WVLT-- The Mountain Challenge program takes participants outdoors for fitness that is “180 degrees from the norm.” Each Wednesday from 3-6:30p.m. participants are invited to climb the 60-foot alpine tower that houses obstacles and fitness challenges along the way.
It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothes that you might wear to rock climb; something you can easily stretch and move. Participants will wear a harness with straps that go to the top of the thighs. Closed toed sneakers or shoes you would wear to work out. There is a restroom to change at the Crawford House, on location, if needed.
You can experience the Mountain Challenge through its Camp 4 program on Wednesdays from 3-6:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults 18 and older, $5 for for children 8 to 17 years old, and free for children under 8.
