Tennessee head football coach Jeremy Pruitt is a busy man. He's currently preparing for the National Championship game with Alabama, all while continuing to assemble his coaching staff with the Vols. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Houston Texans head strength and conditioning coach Craig Fitzgerald has resigned his position to join Pruitt's staff.
Fitzgerald has been with the Texans for the last four seasons. Before that he was with Bill O'Brien at Penn State.
More coaching news on Friday night, Football Scoop is reporting that Florida Director of Player Personnel Drew Hughes is leaving Gainesville to take the same job in Knoxville with Pruitt. Pruitt and Hughes worked together at Alabama.
