NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Titans will be taking a flight across the pond in October to play in London.
It will be the first overseas game during the regular season for the franchise, with the Titans facing the Los Angeles Chargers at Wembley Stadium.
Though the date won't be finalized until April, the Titans said it'll likely be played in either week seven or eight.
“Being asked to play overseas is a result of the success we have had over the last two years," Titans General Manager Jon Robinson said. “We will be doing a lot of leg-work during this off-season to ensure we make that week as normal as possible for our team, but we are excited as an organization to be part of this game.”
When the franchise was based in Houston, the Oilers played in Tokyo and Mexico City in 1992 and 1994, respectively.
