Hydroponic pot growing operation broken up

MONROE COUNTY (WVLT) – On Friday, agents raided a Madisonville man’s home that they say was used as part of a marijuana growing and distribution operation.

Investigators say Christ Didymus Thomas was a subject in a long running undercover operation to break up drug rings in the county. Inside his home, they found two pounds of marijuana, a hydroponic growing operation, four guns and $30,000 in cash.

Thomas remained in jail on Saturday.

He has been charged with the sale and delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana for resale, manufacturing a marijuana narcotic, and possession of a fire arm during the commission of a drug felony.
