2 teens accused of robbing Sutherland Ave store

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two teens are accused of robbing the Bread Box on Sutherland Avenue shortly after midnight Sunday.

The clerk told officers the boys came in, showed they had a knife, demanded money, and ran across the street once they got the cash.

While at the scene, a witness told police the duo had come to his home and wanted a ride. He says he drove them to a home on Sapphire Street.

Officers went to the home and found a 14-year-old and 16-year-old who matched the description the clerk gave them.

Both boys have been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
