Police arrest two people following meth bust in Bean Station. William Lynch (left) is charged with manufacturing meth, while Wendy Williams was arrested for two warrants in Hamblen Co.
BEAN STATION, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two people were arrested Thursday morning after authorities found four Meth labs in and around a Bean Station home, according to police there.
William Lynch, who was already on parole for a Meth-related charge, is charged with manufacturing Meth and Wendy Williams was arrested for two outstanding warrants in Hamblen Co.
An officer with the Bean Station Police Department responded to home at 216 Willis Rd. following a complaint of a chemical smell in the air. There authorities say they discovered two Meth labs inside the home and two more outside.
Officials say it will cost $2,000-$3,000 to clean up the labs; and with no federal money to help pay for it, the cost will fall to department and local taxpayers. Police say they are looking to seize property in order to offset the cost of the cleanup.
