DALTON, GA (WVLT) -- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says a 12-year-old girl and her stepfather have been located in Georgia.
Investigators say Cassidy Dailey was found safe and her stepfather, Allen Harness, is now in police custody.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an Amber Alert for 12-year-old Cassidy Dailey of Livingston, TN Friday morning.
The alert says Cassidy's step-father Allen Harness took her away after assaulting the girl's mother with a knife at 12:30 a.m. Thursday night.
Police arrested Harness in July for violating a restraining order prohibiting contact with Cassidy.
