KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)--Missing 15 year old Monica Johnson has been found in Soddy Daisy, about seven miles north of Chattanooga.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)--An East Tennessee AMBER Alert has been issued byr the Chattanooga Police Department for 15 year-old Monica Johnson. She was last seen on May 11, 2011.

Police think she is with her non-custodial father, Thomas Whitt Johnson. Monica is 5'6" tall and weighs 152 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie with Red Bank printed on it and blue jeans.

Thomas Johnson is a violent sex offender currently on parole. Police say he cut off his GPS tracking device and left the area in a stolen vehicle.

Johnson is 5'11" tall and weighs 184 lbs. He has many tattoos and has large gauge piercings in both ears. He will be driving a red 2010 Kia Soul with TN tag number 990YVK.
