Crimetracker: Harriman attorney arrested for statutory rape


Loudon County, Tenn. Kent Booher cuffed and tossed in jail accused of having sex with a minor.

He's suppose to defend the law. Instead, he's accused of breaking it.

Kent Booher lives minutes away from a local church and the pastor there says learning about his arrest, and what he's accused of, is alarming.

"We've had to tighten up on security. We've got cameras around our daycare," said Pastor Toney Boswell.

Kent Booher, picked up by Loudon County Deputies on Wednesday night.

"It's shocking of course. I grew up around here. I ran around the streets," said Scott Mowery.

Booher is booked on a $29,000 bond.
