ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Lake City man is in custody, a day after authorities say he ran from deputies in his underwear.
Justin Lee McIntosh, 21, surrendered to officers Tuesday evening and was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
Earlier Tuesday, patrol deputies went to his home on Bolin Road near Lake City in an attempt to serve the arrest warrants.
McIntosh broke out a side window of the home and ran from deputies in his underwear.
McIntosh and a deputy struggled briefly before he managed to get away and take off into the woods.
Deputies continued searching for McIntosh, but could not locate him.
McIntosh turned himself in around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and was booked on the outstanding warrants, including two Criminal Court capias for Theft and Criminal Conspiracy and four arrest warrants for two counts of Evading Arrest, Driving On A Suspended Or Revoked Driver License, and Failure To Appear.
He also has a hold for Campbell County on warrants there.
Additional charges are forthcoming on the fleeing and resisting arrest incident.
McIntosh is currently being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility on $122,500.00 bond.
