VONORE, Tenn.(WVLT)--The main suspect in the robbery of the Alcoa Federal Credit Union in Vonore is behind bars.
Federal and local agents picked up William Shane Bright of Loudon, TN just before 7pm Monday night.
The 40 -year-old Bright is facing federal charges for bank robbery.
Investigators say around 3:30 P.M. last Thursday Bright walked into the Alcoa Federal Credit Union in Vonore.
He pulled a handgun and demanded money. After getting the cash, police say Bright took off in an older model, primer colored, small, pickup truck.
No one got hurt in the robbery.
