LUTTRELL, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The TBI and Union Co. Sheriff's Office are investigating the shooting death of a woman found lying in the road in Luttrell.

The woman, who officials say is about 45 year-old, was apparently shot and left in the roadway at intersection of Highway 370 and Little Bull Run Rd., authorities said.

No suspects have been identified, but investigators said the Sheriff's Office is following up on some leads.
