Authorities release photo of Oak Ridge bank robbery suspect

OAK RIDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The FBI has released pictures of the man they believe robbed an Oak Ridge bank early Monday afternoon. They added a reward is being offered for the capture of the suspect.

He allegedly walked into the Tennessee Bank of Oak Ridge, 900 Oak Ridge Turnpike, around one o'clock, displayed a note and demanded money.

Witnesses told the FBI the man was in his mid-to-late 30s, around six feet tall, and weighed between 200 and 220 lbs. He had a goatee and mustache and was wearing khaki pants, a polo style shirt over a white shirt, and white tennis shoes, and a University of Kentucky baseball cap.

The agency has been working with the Oak Ridge Police Dept. and the Knox Co. Sheriff's Office. It is asking anyone with information is asked to please call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751 or the ORPD at 865-425-4399.
