Greene County inmate captured in Sevier County

SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Greene County inmate is back in custody after breaking out Saturday.

Ronnie Lee Shelton was captured in Sevier County just before 1:30 AM Tuesday at the Pine Oak Parkway Inn in Pigeon Forge, not far from the Titanic Museum.

Greene County Deputies say he ran away from a work house.

Shelton was serving a thirty day sentence for a couple misdemeanors.
