KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Department has released the name of a man arrested Monday morning, accused of holding up the Kenjo Market on Strawberry Plains Pike.
Brandon Edmunds, 24, of Knoxville, has been charged with Aggravated Robbery, Driving on a Suspended License, Reckless Driving, and Felony Fleeing. At the time this article was written, Edmunds was being held on an $8,500 bond.
Investigators are still trying to locate the second suspect.
Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a Kenjo station in the 7000 block of Strawberry Plains Pike Monday.
Dispatch says the call came in around 12:40 AM.
One man has been arrested, while another man is still on the run. They escaped with a little cash and cigarettes.
No one was injured.
Managers say a second armed robbery at the Kenjo Market on Central Avenue that happened right before midnight could be connected.
