GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A 67-year-old East Tennessee man has pleaded guilty in federal court in Greeneville to producing child pornography using the video and camera functions on cell phones.
Stanley Weems of Baileyton will be sentenced April 30 and faces 15 years in prison under a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.
Investigators said he recorded images of minors engaged in sexually explicit poses and of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct with adults, including prostitutes paid for by the defendant.
Prosecutors said Tuesday a 17-year-old youngster reported the matter to authorities.
Weems was indicted on three counts in September.
