Crimetracker: Blount Co. deputies search for convenience store robber

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Blount County Sheriff's office is looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed Ian's Market on Morganton Road in Maryville this morning.

Deputies say a store employee told them a masked man came into the store with a handgun and demanded cash. The employee said the robber left the store with cash and other item and took off in a small dark vehicle.

The suspect is described as five feet, nine inches to five feet, ten inches in height with a stocky build, wearing a black mask that covered his whole face, a black and gray striped hooded warm-up jacket, black pants and tennis shoes.
