KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities continue to investigate a shooting in east Knoxville that left on man dead. Robert "Ernie" Reno was found dead just after midnight Saturday morning., according to Knoxville Police Dept. spokesperson Darrell DeBusk.

The 40 year-old man was lying face down in the yard of a home on Selma Ave. with several bullet wounds in his legs, DeBusk added. His body was taken to UT Medical Center for an autopsy.

Authorities have interviewed several individuals over the weekend. They are asking anyone with information to contact the Knoxville Police Dept.'s crime information line at 865-215-7212.
