Broadway Subway robbed at gunpoint Sunday night

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police Officers are trying to track down the man who robbed a fast-food establishment at gunpoint on Sunday.

Police say the man walked into a Subway, 4803 N. Broadway, shortly after 7:30 p.m. He reportedly pulled out a black handgun and demanded money. After getting an undisclosed amount of money, he took off toward the rear of the building.

The suspect was described as a young, very thin, white man, about 5'8" with blue eyes. He was wearing a dark suit coat with dark pants and was wearing a knit cap and may have had dark hair.
