KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police have charged a man with aggravated assault after they said he stabbed a man over $10.
It happened just after 1:00 AM Saturday in Market Square. Officers found Bryce Lee with what they called a "major" cut on his neck, just under his ear.
A short time later, they found and arrested 55-year-old Kyle Simpson on Gay Street.
During the interview, Lee told police that he and Simpson knew each other and were arguing over $10 that Lee owed him.
The cut did not hit any of Lee's major blood vessels, and he's expected to be fine.
Simpson is charged with aggravated assault, weapon possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both men told police that their address was 418 N. Broadway, which is the Knox Area Rescue Ministries.
