Cedar Bluff convenience store robbed at gunpoint

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Dept. is searching for the man who robbed a Cedar Bluff convenience store around 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning.

The suspect is described as a tall, thin man in his late 20's to early 30's. He was wearing a teal t-shirt and had tattoos on both his forearms.

He reportedly walked into the Weigel's, 328 N. Cedar Bluff Rd., and pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money he took off toward the rear of the building.

Anyone with information is asked to call the KPD crime hotline at 865-215-7212.
