CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -- A medical examination has revealed a single gunshot to the head killed a man as five victims were shot in a house in Chattanooga.
The Hamilton County Medical Examiner's report on the death of 22-year-old VanDaryl Rivers was quoted by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.
Witnesses told police a man clad in black opened fire on the victims Sunday night with an assault rifle, then got into a car and left.
Another man was critically wounded when he was hit in the neck by a bullet. A third man was struck in the wrist. Two juveniles were grazed by bullets.
Police have released no information about possible motive and no arrests were reported Thursday.
