Woman stabbed and killed in Clinton | UPDATE

CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police say a woman was stabbed early Saturday in Clinton.

They were called to a home on Park Avenue around 2:25 AM for a disturbance between a man and a woman.

When officers arrived, they say a witness told them the two people had ran off.

About five minutes later, dispatch received another call from the nearby 800 block of McAdoo Street. They say 22-year-old Heather McKamey was knocking on doors asking for help. Officers found her body when they got there.

Kieth Pittman was found walking nearby on Fowler Street. He is charged with Second Degree Murder.

Police say McKamey and Pittman lived together on Park Avenue. McKamey has three kids, but they were not home at the time.
