COCKE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man was arrested for his 12th DUI over the weekend in Cocke County.
According to a police report, Steven Edwards has consistently been arrested since December 1983.
Police tell Local 8 News that he was going the wrong way on Crosby Highway and crashed in the median.
When they asked if he wanted to do a field sobriety test, he refused because he they said he told them he was "too drunk."
The District Attorney's Office says he's not in jail because for a non-violent offense like DUI, he only has to serve 30 percent of his jail time.
