KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville police shut down a bar after drugs, including cocaine, were found inside.
Police boarded up the little red barn, known as "Martha's Place", on Rutledge Pike after showing a search warrant and then serving a nuisance injunction. Cops found cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia inside.
They placed pieces of plywood over windows and doors and stapled public notices on the wood Tuesday afternoon.
Police also had a search warrant for the one of the bartender's house. There they found evidence of cocaine distribution and several firearms.
Knoxville police found cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the bar. A 20-year-old, Amanda Crawford, was charged for selling cocaine inside. Another woman was also arrested who had just purchased cocaine.
Knoxville police and the Knox County District Attorney's Office send a warning: if your business has drugs, you're next.
