LONDON, Ky. (AP) -- A federal grand jury has indicted a Williamsburg man officials say is the "bad hair bandit" and his wife on armed robbery charges.
The U.S. attorney's office says the grand jury in London indicted 30-year-old Jason Fox and 26-year-old Tasha K. Fox on Wednesday.
They're accused of robbing the L&N Federal Credit Union in Whitley County of $3,270 on Dec. 1. Both also face firearms charges.
They were already being held on robbery charges at the Whitley County jail, with bond set at $1 million each. The jail said they are represented by attorney Ronald Findell, who didn't immediately return a call Thursday.
The nickname came from the robberies of a series of banks in eastern Kentucky and East Tennessee by someone wearing a variety of ill-fitting wigs as disguises.
